For several years, antbedy and antbedy's girl have traveled to the Czech Republic for mission trips. We have led Vacation Bible School many times at a smal United Methodist Church in the city of Brno. It was during one of those trips that antbedy first learned about Geocaching from a young man we have watched grow up through the years.
Kuba, his brother Daniel, and their father Ondra geocache together, and when we visited in July 2012 Kuba eagerly shared with us his excitement about the sport. After returning home, antbedy decided to try it out and was quickly hooked. We are thrilled that Kuba, Ondra, and our pastor friend, Jana, will be visiting us in June so that we can finally geocache together. We are also looking forward to introducing them to our US geocaching friends.
We will provide some drinks and snacks for the afternoon and the pizza for dinner. Feel free to bring any additional finger food, desserts, or drinks (hard or soft) that you want to share with the group. If you plan to swim, bring swimwear and towel. We will have some seating available, but in case a crowd shows up, you may want to bring your own chair.
In case of inclement weather, we will skip the swimming but still gather inside for fun, food and fellowship.
All ages are welcome! Kuba is 13 and would love to meet Americans around his own age. If you are bringing young children, please be prepared to keep a close watch on them around the pool.
