Our daily survival and the quality of our subsequent existence requires that we learn to communicate effectively; that is, we must recognize the messages being conveyed; correctly interpret & understand the meanings, and deliver our own thoughts calmly & clearly for others to do the same. This is the most critical point to the success in life and certainly in any specific endeavor - be that business, love, war, death or the likes.
In every facet of life, communication proves to be challenging (for me and most). I find this particularly true in regards to my personal reactions & interactions in daily life with the people I love most. But, I believe that when we make effective communication a priority in life; the doors and treasures of all other matters will be opened and available for all to enjoy. :)
