This is the third in a series of tricky caches located along the Mangaone Stream Pathway in the Milson area. It is great for a bike ride or a walk on a nice day as you can choose how far you want to go – there are many access points and loop routes available.
This cache is hidden where the Mangaone Stream crosses Apollo Parade. It contains a waterproof paper log - no room for swaps.
From this point you can choose to continue on the walkway on either side of the stream after crossing Apollo Parade. The route on the left hand side ultimately takes you all the way down to the racecourse and you can join up with the Manawatu River cycleway. The route on the right appears to head the same way but takes a sharp right hand turn and heads back towards Flygers line. This is the way you want to go if you wish to search for the rest of the Watergate series. And if you haven't already done so, you could start the Seagnoid's Mangaone series down this way as well.
