Silver Sands beach has been a regular winner of Blue Flag and Seaside awards for the quality of the beach and its facilities. On a hot, sunny day it can only be described as "hoaching" with families, couples, teenagers and random happy wanderers flinging each other in the sea, having BBQs, playing frisbee, throwing beach balls and generally having a good time.There's a cafe and a kiosk selling a variety of snacks, meals, ice cream and beach accessories like buckets and spades.
Access to the beach and car parks is via Hawkcraig Road. In the evening and out of season you can park right next to the cache. In season this is a disabled only car park. There is a another car park servicing the beach at the top of the hill but there is a small parking charge during the high season.
Well done to Talking Treeoes for being First to Find. Sorry about the scratches but this can be Muggle Central so I needed to conceal the cache well.
