This cache has been archived.

Eilani & Graywords: It was a nice run. Maybe this one will come back some day when I'm able.

Geocache Description:

A nice PnG in a (just North of) downtown San Antonio city park.

While visiting this park after dropping off our next set of TNR (trap-neuter-return) cats one day a couple months back, we liked this park thanks to its simplistic beauty and colors (Eilani's favorite shade of purple is right near GZ, and the building closest to the cache is her favorite shade of blue) and decided to come back.

This time, a series of otherwise uninteresting events lead me to decide this park had gone cache-less long enough. Each time we've been to this park - which is little more than a baseball field, tot lot, picnic tables, and a community/activity center - we've heard roosters announcing morning, and trains passing fairly close by. On this occasion, we also heard the call of a crane and watched it fly by overhead. Its too nice of a spot to be so lightly traveled as it apparently is.

Come on a weekend and bring the kiddos for a nice play at the covered tot lot! Just please, do not come during dark hours as the neighbors nearby get uneasy about strange people at night, and as always, please try to practice CITO to help preserve our planet and cache locations.

Cache is a large, common type micro container big enough for very small SWAG, of which a little is included on placement. I didn't pay attention to where the ramp was, but there is sidewalk all the way to the cache, and it is accessible from the sidewalk. There is also a McD's nearby, for those hungry kiddos. ;)
