A hidden treasure in a hidden treasure! Find a forgotten waterfall in Rouken Glen Park and you'll be near this cache. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CACHE HAS ONCE AGAIN BECOME UNAVAILABLE. PLEASE DON'T TRY SEARCHING FOR IT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE AS YOU WON'T FIND IT!
There's a forgotten waterfall in Rouken Glen park - recent updates to the park mean it is nearer a path than it used to be. This can be found from several starting points: through the park or if short of time starting from the new David Lloyd centre. We came across this waterfall while exploring with the dog, so it is fairly accessible but not with a buggy or very small children as there is quite a bit of terrain to scramble when you get near the cache. In this area of the park the original plans show a reservoir and a duck pond which is not to be confused with the boating pond. Watch out for some slippery slopes and good luck finding our cache. If you hear the sound of falling water this might be the one, but there could be another so keep looking! The cache is carefully concealed in a plastic tupperware. There is a log book and pencil and a few party bag treats. Please replace in its hidden location - the original cache was lost and this is a replacement.
