This cache is placed off the Birren Road and fornenst the boundary of Banagher Forest. An approximate 30 minute return walk from the Car Parking coordinates to the cache. A circular walk, of approximately 2 miles, can also be followed if time is not an issue taking in the three caches that are located near the parking coordinates. No pen or pencil in the cache and there's only room for small swaps.
Access is via two farm gates, the first one at Barony Bridge. After that just keep left of the fence line until you drop down to the forest boundary. There is no defined route.
The terrain is the usual Sperrin fayre of grasses, bilberry and the odd sphagnum moss flush - especially in the sump before the forest boundary, therefore walking boots are essential.
The cache is a small jar in a cammo bag.
It is NOT possible to circumnavigate Lough Altnaheglish, its western boundary is EXTREMELY BOGGY, many a ewe has floundered there. Please note that at GZ there are no life saving aids.
