I pass this spot most days walking the dog hence placing a cache here and soon some more along my walking paths. Please stick to the foot paths and respect the farmers fields. At certain times the the local shooting range / clay pigeon shooting is very active, so dont be surprised with lots of gun fire.
The fields here are a possible site for a housing estate and the propsed A28 route to avoid the Sturry level crossing. They can get muddy when its wet, but good most of the year. The footpath runs up the hill through the bluebell woods to Broad Oak or along the railway line towards Canterbury.
Please note that the cache can be reached without crossing the nearby railway line, or having to enter railway property. If you do choose to cross the railway line then please use the proper foot crossing and take care to passing trains. If the nearby road level crossing barriers are down then there is a train approaching. If you have little geocachers with you or like me geohounds then please please look after them. If you like steam trains, then check out the internet as one or two can pass through a week pulling steam specials.
The cache is pretty small (smaller than a 35mm film canister, OK, it's a nano) so you'll need to bring your own pen or pencil. Please can you return it to the same spot after signing. Please take care as if it gets knocked off it may be hard to retrieve!
Congratulations to Osbornr for being the first to find :)
