Whoever built and maintains this great trail did a terrific job! 90 min up to the creek crossing & 30 min back down for this oldphart.
Camoed cylinder about five feet above ground; should be accessible year round unless snow's more than 6' deep. It's at 6,000' elevation, about 100' above the creek crossing trail, up a slippery pine-needle-covered slope. Coords averaged for 18 minutes, should be accurate, but it is a canyon with lots of trees.
