If at first you don't succeed, ... This is at least the third geocache at this public access, possibly the fifth. I know that I have found two here, and there may have been a third. In addition, the title of the first cache I found here made it sound as if there had been an earlier cache that didn't work out.
This is on a canoe and kayak route, and is a state-designated Wild and Scenic River.
You seek a plastic container, large enough for trading small items.
You may encounter barbed wire on the way to the cache, although there is none near the cache. Not recommended for small children or at night, because of the hazards. The water was high when I placed the cache, and I did not need to get my feet wet, but it could be difficult to reach the cache if there is flooding. This is not likely to be winter-friendly. The road is not plowed.
Your best bet for a restroom is the county park about half a mile south on County Road 2.
