This cache is named for the bear we saw on our way down the mountain. We came around this corner and there he was, but he didn't stick around to talk...........He ran over the mountain. LOL Managed to get a couple of pictures of him before he disappeared though.
You are looking for a camoed lock-n-lock type container with the usual stuff. It was placed where we saw a bear while caching on April 26, 2014. There is a little climbing involved because the hiding spot is a little above the road. Also off to the right of the cache you might notice a "trail" that looks like it it used quite frequently by someone other than two legged creatures. This cache is on your way up to Bolan Lake on National Forest road 4812. After finding the cache, if you are on your way up the mountain check out the lake and camping possibilities, its well worth the trip. If you are on your way down the mountain, than I would hope that you already checked out the lake. This road winds through some very beautiful territory and has many picture spots and views so definitely take a camera!
