Swampy Cache
This cache is in the swamp area of Wood Dale park.
To avoid crossing private property you should park in the
parking lot on Prospect Ave.
I have placed two caches in this park. The other one is a bit
more family friendly. Since I wouldn't bring a small child in here I didn't put
many toy type items in the cache initially.
This is a great park in Bergen county. There is a play area,
picnic area and a small lake to fish in (license necessary). On the east side of
the park there are rest rooms available. You will find a large amount of folks
here walking and jogging.
Since there are no trails here you should take care of the
surrounding area while searching for this cache. To get the coordinates for this
cache I took 10 waypoints over multiple days and averaged them.
The cache is a "Kernbob"

only appear to be inches deep. You will sink deeply into the mud at the
bottom though! I was sinking past my knees when I pulled myself out! |
