Geocache Description:


Knappa in the early days with plenty of river activity and the train station.The Dock was the was heart of this community. Very beautiful scenery. Be sure to back up and go to the nearby dock and enjoy the Knappa slough and the Knappa dock and wildlife. The railroad no longer survives and if you walk west down the tracks you will find a popular fishing spot at the entrance to Big Creek.
