and tell me: What was built right behind ( NE corner of
this park (N32°58.255 W117°02.179) the "Barn" and dedicated on July
4, 2002? What inside the "Barn" uses this device that is right
behind the "barn"? .......
Next "big" function at the Park is July 4th. There will be lots of
fun stuff going on. Lego Dan and Ranger Roger will be there.-See
you there!....... BTW the coords for the cache are located at a
place that in the early days was normally considered the center of
the city square................
You might also catch Ranger Roger and Lego Dan volunteering (when
not geocaching) here on a piece of equipment that is kept inside
the "Barn" . In fact we volunteer between 1-4pm on the first
Saturday and 10am-1pm on the 4th Saturday of the month (The City of
Poway believes that if the first of the month is on a Sunday,
that's considered the 1st weekend of the month, but that Saturday,
the last day of the previous month, is still consider the last
weekend of the month. Go figure. SO if you're there and you ask for
us and we aren't there, it could because of the weekend rule of the
City of Poway). So come do this geocache and say "hi" (We have
geocaching pins on, normally).
A tip to the wise-When a big event is scheduled for the park, it's
wise not to do this geocache. Lots of people and parking is a
premium.
