Huta cynku „Hugo” wzięła nazwę od swojego właściciela – hrabiego Hugo Henckel von Donnersmarcka. Działała w latach 1812 – 1932. Po Dommersmarckach czy późniejszych właścicielach – np. spółce Schlesische A.G. für Bergbau und Zinkhüttenbetrieb, trudno znaleźć ślady. Po hucie pozostało niewiele. Ale niektórzy jeszcze o niej pamiętają.
