This location has a history. Way back when the metroplex was not so big, all of the land that is now being developed as apartments and the large 5-lane road was owned by the owners of the old mansion that once stood where this cache is hidden. All of the land was scattered with trees and forest, and the only road that existed was S 40th Street. Once the city wanted the land, the mansion was knocked down, the land was cleared, and now the 5-lane Promenade Blvd. runs right through the heart of their land. The old mansion used to stand here and some of the driveway still remains. Happy findings!!
