We stopped in Haltwistle ( Center of Britain) on our wedding night,
7 years later we decided to come back and stay for our anniversary on the 7th April,
Whilst we were out caching we decided to place a cache on a lovely walk not far from the town center . The path leads to another cache which we enjoyed, we though this one would give the walker an extra incentive to try this path out which follows a scenic river. The path is normally good but can have a few muddy spots so wear boots after rain. You will not be disappointed by the walk especially if you have dogs.
all though the other 2 caches close by are quite difficult this one is relatively easy so you will get at least one find here :)
The road has a dead end sign but you can drive right up it to the start of the trail or leave your car in the car park at the start and enjoy the walk
