The 70's Decade saw one craze that geocachers might be able to relate to. Pet Rocks became very popular in 1975. They were sold in little boxes with beds or nests and care instructions. This craze only lasted for a few months in 1975.
But now we geocachers have a great affinity for rocks. We love to hide caches in them. And we spend a lot of time searching every nook and cranny in piles of rocks. We sometimes find a cache actually in the bottom of a rock. And we even have fake rocks.
