Last month I hid April Showers which we all know brings May Flowers. This small cache is off Foresthill Road and is most safely approached when you are heading towards Auburn.
Its already May and I have been so busy getting ready for Dinosaur Day Science Fest that I haven’t even planted my vegetable garden yet. DDay was yesterday, so now I can focus on getting my May caches placed and published. By the way, I would like to send a huge shout out “THANK YOU” to Species5618, Lil’ Devil, Peeka_Boo, Graniteman84, and the two Boy Scouts with Geocaching merit badges. They all helped to varying degrees to make this year’s Dinosaur Day a success. Species has been by my side through the entire ordeal of planning and setting up the event. Lil’ Devil gave up two entire days that he could have and would have been out geocaching. Peek, Gman, and the two scouts (who’s names I don’t even know), came through on the day of the event by running the GPS Hunt booth. I am so thankful to have geocaching friends like you. I hope you enjoyed your time with the families.
Anyway, back to this cache. This is the only gardening I have done all season. The flowers are blooming now so it is the perfect time to hide this cache. I hope you enjoy the hunt and have time to slow down and smell the roses.
I have a goal for 2014 of hiding caches on days when the month and date match. I hid one cache on 1/1, two caches on 2/2, and three caches on 3/3. With luck and hard work I can keep it up all year. This month was especially difficult because Dinosaur Day Science Fest was held on May the fourth. So, I have been super busy.
