To reach the caches south of Hasler Creek, you have two options. The first option is to park at the Elba Equestrian Complex. There will be some steep, probably muddy hills, and a creek crossing. The creek is shallow enough to wade across, or you can go downstream a bit and cross at the log crossing with a makeshift handrail. The benefit of parking here is that it’s a shorter hike. The second option is to park at Toboggan Hill. The terrain is a little easier and there’s no creek-crossing, but it’s a longer hike. The waypoints for parking, trailheads, and the log crossing are included on the cache page.
This cache is one of many in a series of caches hidden for the 2014 Genesee County Parks Event. Be aware of any potential muggles while searching for this cache. Trade evenly when possible. Please hide the cache as you found it. Do not leave the cache out in the open! To log a find on this cache, you must actually find it and sign the log. Failure to do so will result in deletion of your online found log.
Permission for its placement has been granted by the Genesee County Parks and Recreation Commission. Permit #14,000.
Most Genesee County Parks are open from 8:00 AM until sunset.
Thank you A&J Tooling for placing this cache!
