Geocache Description:

You are visiting Union Hill Cemetary in Middle Haddam, CT.

I drive by here all the time on my way to Hurd Park. Last weekend I stopped in and noted how incredibly peaceful I felt here. I was surrounded by old family names in this area and it occured to me the longevity of the families that are still here. I won't list them but some happen to be close neighbors and family friends. While exploring the graves note those that served our country, built homes, worked and raised families in this community. As with any graveyard cache, please be respectful in your surroundings.
