Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. This is not even a good place to park. Solve the puzzle to figure out where the cache is. This is not a night cache, only search during posted park hours, there are houses not far from ground zero, please do not disturb them by caching at night. Thank you.

The boys and I love geocaching together. One of the highlights of our journeys is the music we listen to along the way. Each person takes a turn selecting a song for a disc that we make from the music we have as a family. This is in the inspiration for this puzzle. Our lucky song we listen to before looking for a lonely cache is Buffalo Soldier. Solve the crossword puzzle, use the letters to figure out the coordinates for the cache. The geocaching members of the community have done such a great job on the math puzzles, that I thought they deserved recognition as part of the puzzle for this cache. I will keep track of the top 20 finders and try to incorporate their names in the Sounds of Geocaching (part two), although I have not decided if I will reuse names of those already in this puzzle.

Difficulty based primarily on my guess as to how hard the puzzle is, I welcome any feedback on if I have over or underestimated the puzzle. Extra credit for naming your favorite song (or one of your favorites if that is too difficult to pick one). My favorite is The Runner by Manfred Mann and his Earth Band.

Fill in the place with the letter # for the down/across. For example for the first character 1D5 means the 1st letter in down #5. 5A9 means the fifth character in across #9. Got it? Off you go, have fun!  Cache can be found at North
