Geocache Description:


Tefnut is the Egyptian goddess of rain, dew, moisture, and moist air. In order to prevent the land of Egypt from shriveling up, she keeps it moist. She's the sister and consort of Shu, the mother of Geb and Nut, the grandmother of Osiris, Isis, Set, and Nephthys, and the great grandmother of Horus and Anubis. She is a member of the Ennead of Heliopolis.

Appearance

Tefnut has a lion-head that is usually seen dripping wet. She is often depicted sitting on a throne.
