Located in a Morris County Park.
Cache is located about 3/8ths of mile in from the parking area. There is a gravel covered trail that leads 95 percent of the way to the cache. It is not marked however follow the main path. The cache is a translucent square Rubbermaid plastic container with a ivory cover. There is tree cover and GPS signals were lost several times on the way to the site and at the site. This should not present a problem in locating the cache. It is hidden within a small group of rocks (boulders ?). Smaller rocks, leaves and tree branches conceal the cache. Please cover the cache to completely hide it.
This park is full of winding hiking trails that meander throughout the park, connecting several scenic overlooks. Easily accessible family picnic sites with barbeque grills, public restrooms, a ball field, and horseshoe pits. A picturesque seven-acre lake, whose shore is partially lined with weeping cherry trees, affords geocachers the opportunity to fish, rent rowboats and paddleboats on weekends and holidays, Memorial Day through Labor day. During the winter the lake is used for ice-skating and ice fishing. This is a well-maintained general purpose park for year round enjoyment.
