This cache is dedicated to my friend GEOB.O.B in honour of her finding her 10,000th cache. An incredible milestone.
I first met Viv on November 15, 2009. She and Sherlock were at GC2D79E. Here is the log I recorded that day...
" Decided to swoop back to this one in hopes that I may be lucky the second time. To my delight I ran into GEOB.O.B....Mrs. was on her way back to the car to look at the clues once again...leaving her husband at the site searching. I think I almost gave him a heart attack-as he was expecting her voice not mine! We checked our co-ordinates and both of us were smack on. When the "I FOUND IT" cry came from behind me I nearly jumped for joy....I was SO glad to have stopped by at the right time today!!! Lovely to meet the pair of you, and to have made new GEO friends. I must have looked at that spot 30 times yesterday...and not seen it. Now it is SO OBVIOUS! sheesh. The clue is perfect! TFTC this was a good one!"
Who knew that a chance meeting that day would turn into many laughter filled days caching with her.
As you get out of your Geomobile, take a look at the 10,000 or so cars across the road at the Toronto Auto Auction. NOW, picture those cars as all the caches Viv has found! THAT is ALOT of CACHES!!!!
Congratulations ol' buddy...I hope to be able to cache some more with you this summer. Onward and upward to your next 10,000.
