A_No1: This series has gone to Davy Jones locker -- I will send out a search party to retrieve any gear adrift, rescue any travel bugs who are lost at sea, and scuttle any remaining vessels to keep them out of enemy hands.

Geocache Description:

Cache associated with GC50K3V You Sank My Battleship series. In order to find the cache you must solve the puzzle at the bottom of the page.

At the Naval Officers’ club, four Admirals were talking about their ships.

There were a total of eight ships, two in each class, Cruiser (17.014), Destroyer (17.196), Carrier(36.654) and Frigate(36.324). Each Admiral was responsible for two ships. No Admiral had two ships of the same class.

Admiral Ricketts didn't have a Frigate. Admiral Radford didn't have a Cruiser, but did have a Destroyer. One of the Admirals had a Frigate and a Carrier and another Admiral had a Destroyer and a Carrier. Admiral Rickover had a Frigate. Admiral Roughead had a Carrier, but didn't have a Destroyer.

Can you work out which Admiral had which ships?

Of the Four Admirals, one served for three decades as the Director of the Division of Nuclear Reactors? With his ships you will have the coordinates.
