Geocache Description:

Cache placed here with the very kind permission of The National Trust in South and East Cumbria and Morecambe Bay.

This is our first ever cache we've set up.  It is to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary; today 8th May 2014.

Helsington is special to us as we got engaged there, infront of the church.  It has fantastic views across the Lyth Valley where we spend so much of our time exploring.

The cache is hidden just off the footpath, between some holly trees, underneath an ash tree.  If you stay a while, you may be lucky enough to hear the noisy chiff chaff!

The cache is a plastic click lock container which includes a log book, a pencil, a pencil sharpener, a 'first to find' coin, a travel bug, a parachuting alien and a plastic compass to start off the swaps.
