Az egykori ferences templomot (a barátok templomát) és mellé rendházat 1732–1743-ban építették. 1827-ben tűz ütött ki az épületben. A szomszédos házakra nem terjedt át, de a berendezés több darabját megrongálta. Ezt fokozatosan alakították át jelenlegi formájába. Először, 1876-ban az eredetileg a szentély mögé emelt tornyot bontották le, és helyette a homlokzat elé húztak fel egy új, barokk tornyot. Ezután Knapp Ferenc váradi építőmester tervei alapján kívül-belül teljesen átépítették a templomot. Hajóját végül a 20. század első éveiben bontották el, és a ma is látható eklektikus stílusú (zömmel neoreneszánsz) épületet 1903–1905 között ifj. Rimanóczy Kálmán tervei nyomán Sztarill Ferenc építész építette fel. Egyúttal átépítették a homlokzati tornyot, és két kisebbet emeltek mellé. A régi templomból a kripta, a hat mellékoltár és a szószék maradt meg. A hajdani rendház jelenleg a katonakórház része.

The former Franciscan church ( the Church of friends ) and next to a monastery was built from 1732 to 1743 . In 1827 a fire broke out in the building. Not spread to the neighboring houses , but several pieces of equipment damaged . This gradually transformed into the current form. First , in 1876, the tower was originally erected behind the shrine was pulled down , and instead drew up a new tower in front of the baroque facade. Then, based on Francis Knapp Oradea builder 's plans completely rebuilt the church inside and out. Ship finally pulled away by the early years of the 20th century , and can still be seen in the eclectic style ( mostly neo-Renaissance) Jr. building between 1903-1905 . Following Rimanóczy Kalman plans architect Francis Sztarill built . They also rebuilt the front tower and two smaller raised together. The crypt of the old church , the six side altars and the pulpit remained. The former monastery is now part of the military hospital .

Pe acest loc călugării franciscani au construit în perioada 1732-1743 o biserică și o mănăstire. Biserica a fost transformată în anul 1876 de Knapp Ferenc, care i-a adăugat turnul. În perioada 1903-1905 a fost reconstruită nava bisericii și s-au construit și două turnuri secundare în stil eclectic după proiectul arhitectului Rimanóczy Kálmán junior. Din vechea biserică a rămas doar cripta și șase altare laterale iar clădirea mănăstirii vechi face parte din spitalul militar.
