According to recent press, the County is preparing to connect Kapiolani Street from where it ends near Mohouli Street to where it starts again below the University of Hawaii at Hilo. If it proceeds as reported the Notice to Proceed could be given in December 2014, so this cache will only be around until then.
The cache is a clear sterilite container hidden in what most geocachers will consider a fairly obvious spot so it should be a quick park and grab with an intervening short stroll for most.
