Geocache Description:

This is the Culling's Well geocache, Culling's Well is not at this location... Culling's Well was one of only a few sources of water for people traveling by horseback, the Arizona--California Stagecoach Lines from Wickenburg, Az to Ehrenberg, Az or on foot in the 1800's.   If you want to visit Culling's Well make sure you're using a vehicle that can go in from hard sand to maybe loose sand depending on the conditions. Make sure you are carrying water as it's very hot in the summer and can flood during the summer monsoon rains without notice. We highly recommend using a GPS for your safety. Cullings Well coordinates are N33 54.571 W133 23.594 (See note)  Cullings Well is located .84 miles east of this geocache just off of Hwy 60 at mile marker 71.5 take the dirt road north, as you travel north, the fist landmark will be crossing the railroad track at 0.6 tenths mile. Continue on... At 2.2 miles you come to a cattle guard. "After crossing the cattle guard turn to the right". Continue approximately ½ mile and looking to your 11:00 O’clock position on your horizon, (Maybe) you will see a very large cement monument standing about 5’ tall in the distance. At this point we turned left for 900’ to the area near Culling’s Well. Depending on the run off, work your way toward this cement structure on the best route you can find. .
