The event will take place atop a Rocky Mountain Outcrop in Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. Free parking is available at the listed co-ords on Margaret Cresent in Waterfall.
The Flash Mob will take place at 12h00. Please ensure you are parked by 10h00 at the latest so that you have enough time for the climb to the Flash Mob co-ordinates. The climb is expected to take 60-90 minutes depending on the size of the group and YES! there is some danger and heights involved. (Hence the 5 Terrain)
You will need to bring along a small mirror so that you can send mirror-FLASH signals to the vicinity of geocache Broken Beyond Repair on the other side of the gorge (A Terrain 2 Event), where there will be another Flash Mob at the same time - they in turn will be sending us mirror-FLASH messages.
Sequence of Events:
- 10h00 - Meet at Listed Parking
- 10h10 - Hike and Climb starts
- 11h55 - Be ready to start Flashing.
- 12h00 - Flash Mob begins - Start flashing signals to the other flash mob.
- 12h10 - Group Photo
- 12h15 - Flash Mob ends
- 12h20 - Return climb
