The meaning of 'a bird in your hands is worth two in the bush' is that the thing that you have is worth more than the things that you are wanting.  It means to take pleasure and confort in the things that you have.  Rather than alway seeking somting new and unobtainable.

June 12th is National Get Outdoors Day.  So go gather the family and head out to your community. Research has found that our childern spend too much time indoors TV, playing video games or working on the computer.  Childern that encourage in nature and gardening are more focused, suffer less from ADD and score better on exams.  And, all gardeners know the mental, emotional and physical benefits of gardening.  So make this day, week or month you share Geocaching with family and freinds.
