We zijn weer helemaal klaar voor een nieuw Brugse Beer Mega-Event. Wat we al kunnen zeggen is dat het opnieuw een driedaagse zal worden. Dit jaar is er ook een thema: Avontuur & Natuur!

Vrijdag 10 april zal er een Meet & Greet zijn.
Zaterdag 11 april is er een CITO event en opnieuw een GeoKubb toernooi.
MEGA EVENT: Zondag 12 april gaat het Mega Event door. We sluiten af met een Afterparty: GC5J52P

Activiteiten
  • Er worden nieuwe caches gelegd. Op het event zullen er laptops staan, zodat de gpx-bestanden ter plaatse op je gps gezet kunnen worden. De volledige listings van de nieuwe caches zullen ook in het eventboekje staan die je ontvangt bij de inschrijvingscontrole op het event.
  • Er zullen verschillende shops aanwezig zijn. Zoals andere jaren zullen er opnieuw event items gekocht kunnen worden.
  • We organiseren een grote petlingwerpwedstrijd voor 500 deelnemers in 3 verschillende categoriën: mannen, vrouwen en kinderen (tot 12 jaar).
  • Zoals elk jaar is er weer een tombola. Iedereen die zich ingeschreven heeft, kan hieraan deelnemen.

Programma

  • 8:00 - Deuren van de eventlocatie gaan open
  • 8:30 - Opening inschrijvingen (je zal op vrijdag en zaterdag ook reeds kunnen inschrijven en je festivalbandje ontvangen)
  • 9:00 - Uitdelen van de listings van de nieuwe caches + Start opladen GPS'en
  • 13:00 - Start eerste voorstelling GIFF 2014 (Duur: 1 uur)
  • 14:30 - Start tweede voorstelling GIFF 2014 (Duur: 1 uur)
  • 16:00 - Vraag/Antwoord moment Natuurpunt
  • 17:30 - Uitreiking Petlingwerpen
  • 18:00 - Tombola
  • 19:00 - Sluiten van de Eventlocatie
  • 19:00 - Begin AfterParty Event (GC5J52P)

Praktisch


  • Er zal de mogelijkheid zijn om iets te eten en te drinken op de eventlocatie
  • Wij laden alle GPS toestellen die via USB aangesloten zijn en GPX files aanvaarden. We ondersteunen ook oudere garmin toestellen die via USB werken.
  • Om deel te nemen aan de activiteiten controleren we of je een festivalbandje hebt. Deze kan je afhalen bij de inschrijvingsdesk. Dit kan vrijdag op de Meet 'n Greet, de zaterdag of de zondag tijdens het Mega Event.

Opgelet: Indien je niet alleen aanwezig wil zijn op ons event maar ook wil deelnemen aan activiteiten, dan moet je vooraf registreren op onze website www.geocachingbrugge.be. . Kostprijs is €5 en zal je op onze website kunnen kopen van 4 januari 2015 tot en met 31 maart 2015. Tickets op de eventlocatie zullen beperkt voorradig zijn en zullen €6 kosten.

We are more than ready to host the 5th edition of the Brugse Beer Mega-event! We can already tell you that it will last 3 days. It will also have a theme: Nature & Adventure

On Friday, April 10th there will be a Meet & Greet event
On Saturday, April 11th there will be a CITO Event and a GeoKubb tournament.
MEGA EVENT: Sunday, April 12th will be the Mega Event! After that we have an Afterparty: GC5J52P

Activities
  • We will place about new geocaches. At the event there will be laptops to put the GPX files on your GPS device. The full listings of these caches will also be in the roadbook that you get at the registration check of the event.
  • There will be several shops at the event. There will also be special event items for sale.
  • There will be a big PETling-throwing contest for about 500 participants divided into 3 categories: Men, Women and children (until the age of 12)
  • Like last year there will be a raffle for everyone that registered.
  • Lab Caches

Schedule

  • 8:00 - Doors of the eventlocation open
  • 8:30 - Registrations open (You will be able to register and receive your festival bracelet on Friday and Saturday too)
  • 9:00 - Handout of the roadbooks + load GPS devices with new Geocaches
  • 13:00 - Start first showcase GIFF 2014 (Duration: 1 hour)
  • 14:30 - Start second showcase GIFF 2014 (Duration: 1 hour)
  • 16:00 - Q&A Moment Natuurpunt (Only in Dutch)
  • 17:30 - Announcement of the winners of the PETLing throwing competition
  • 18:00 - Raffle
  • 19:00 - Closing of the Event location
  • 19:00 - Beginning of After Party Event! (GC5J52P)

Practical


  • It will be possible to eat and drink something at the eventlocation
  • We can preload all GPS devices that accept GPX files with a USB connection. We also support older Garmin devices that have USB.
  • To participate in the activities of the event you will need a festival bracelet. You can get these at the registration desk on Friday during the Meet & Greet, on Saturday and on Sunday during the Mega Event itself.

Attention! If you want to participate in the activities and not only attend the event, you will have to register through on our website www.geocachingbrugge.be. Price is €5, tickets can be bought on our website from Januari 4th 2015 until the 31st of March 2015. Tickets at the eventlocation will be limited and will cost €6.
