Wenzaobang Observation Deck
There is renovated deck where you can observe ships at the Huangpu River
The Wenzaobang or Wenzao River , often mispronounced as Yunzaobang, is a river of Shanghai, China. It flows from the Wusong River in Jiading District to the Huangpu River in Baoshan District. It is 38 kilometers long.
The Huangpu is the largest river in Shanghai, with Suzhou Creek being its major tributary. It is on average 400 meters wide and 9 meters deep. It divides the city into two regions: Pudong to its east and Puxi to the west. (Dong and Xi mean 'East' and 'West' respectively in Mandarin Chinese.)
Transportation:
When you want to visit there, take Metro Line nr.3 The place is about 20 minutes walk from Songbin Road Station ,or take Bus No. 51, 116, 522, 952, 849, Yangbao Port Special Line, and Tourism Bus Special Line 5, and get off at Wusong Port Passenger Transport Center.
Updated : 1st June 2016 old chache was muggled, There is a new cache at new coordinates. Old place is used as a restaurant. See the Photohint before. Area can be extremelly muggled because BBQ restaurant nearby looks full. Cache is small , about 80ml round transparent plastic container.
Contains: logsheet, coins. There is not pen in a cache so BYOP. (sorry I didn't have small pencil when I checked the cache).
