Hillgrove Museum is located in the building and grounds of Hillgrove's public school.
Take the time to browse the old wagons and drays and wander inside to view artifacts from Hillgrove's mining heyday, when the village was a town with a population of 3000. The Museum bulding is open Friday to Monday and all NSW Public Holidays. There is a donation box in the building foyer and your golden schrapnel contributes toward the Museum upkeep. You do not need to enter the building to find this cache.
