Balayang: I am regretfully archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action to restore the cache, or any communication from the cache owner, Team M-B , requesting additional time, within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note, and it appears that the cache has been abandoned.

Geocache Description:

A short series honouring some historic school sites in country WA. Tipperary school, originally located at this site on Tipperary Farm, approx. 8km from the York town centre, was built in 1869. Unfortunately, no building remains at the location.

With an average daily attendance of 14 in 1869, Tipperary School in its original whitewashed building was in use until a new building was built in 1874. Due to low numbers, the school closed in 1881, but was re-opened again in 1885 after an 1883 letter from Mr Burges accused the York District Board of neglect, but it closed again shortly after, due to the continuing low numbers, often due to the river being too high.
