The UNESCO Fundy Biosphere Reserve’s Amazing Places project (add link (http://fundy-biosphere.ca/en/experience/amazing-places) is a wonderful way to discover the highlights of this very special area. This year’s caches feature five of these “Amazing Places” situated inside Fundy National Park.
This cache is located on the most popular trail in Fundy National Park – Dickson Falls. The looped trail will take you through a lovely section of the Park’s Acadian Forest as it leads you down to the very bottom of the picturesque falls. This is the perfect spot for a photo to commemorate your day of geocaching the Park’s Amazing Places.
Be sure to watch for moss and lichen that love the moist cool microclimate created by the topography and the water. Then, notice how the temperature and plant types change as you move away to follow the circular path back to the parking lot.

Cette année, les caches feront découvrir aux géocacheurs cinq des « lieux fantastiques » situées au sein du parc national Fundy
Cette cache est située sur le sentier le plus populaire du parc national Fundy. La boucle des Chutes‑Dickson mène les randonneurs à travers un charmant secteur de la forêt acadienne jusqu’au pied des pittoresques chutes Dickson. C’est l’endroit idéal pour prendre une photo en souvenir de votre journée de géocachette et de découverte des lieux fantastiques du parc national Fundy.
Soyez à l’affût de la mousse et des lichens, qui adorent le microclimat humide et frais créé par la topographie et l’eau. Remarquez comment la température et les types de plantes changent à mesure que vous vous éloignez des chutes pour suivre le sentier circulaire jusqu’au stationnement.
