Geocache Description:

Part of the 'Roman Route', a 2.25 mile circuit taking in Orchard fields, an ancient Roman Fort. The walk also features a strole through the willow woods, along the banks of the Derwent, and into the pretty village of Old Malton, before looping back towards Malton.

As soon as the previous cache is found, make an about turn. When available turn right and enter Orchard field. Walk down the edge, keeping the woodland to your left. Continue straight ahead, passing an industrial site on your right. Do not be tempted to use the steps to your left, unless you like bum sliding into the next cache point! You will reach a slight clearing as you enter the willow wood, unfortunately kids use this area for their elicit drinking, so may be litter issues, Mitchmalt remembers taking his beer cans home with him when he came here as a lad! From here enjoy the walk along the boards, until the next cache is reached.
