Johnson Siding Volunteer Fire Dept Station 2 Traditional Cache

This is the second in a series of caches dedicated to our local volunteer fire departments. There is a container in the camo here or just 'Log in' on the camo. Pen is provided. Use stealth as necessary. Permission obtained to place this cache from the Johnson Siding VFD.

This is another unmanned station except in times of ongoing fire events. I am not sure when this station was erected. Probably when the two nearby subdivisions were going in, so firefighters and equipment would be close at hand. This station is also manned by volunteers. These men and women are the first responders for those living outside the city limits. Without these volunteer stations rural folks would be left at the whim of Mother Nature and her disasters. Thanks to all those who volunteer their time and talents to protect the lives and the homes of those living nearby.
