Geocache Description:

This is only one of a very few one room schoolhouses that is still standing in this southwest Iowa country school series. Hunter school was listed in the National Register of historic places in Jan. 9, 2007. There is plenty of parking near the cache so take time to enjoy the school and respect its historical value.
