Part of the 'Roman Route', a 2.25 mile circuit taking in Orchard fields, an ancient Roman Fort. The walk also features a strole through the willow woods, along the banks of the Derwent, and into the pretty village of Old Malton, before looping back towards Malton.
Out of the woodland and into the light. This one is situated just off the track along the drainage ditch known as 'the cut' This route is very popular with dog walkers. Take care when retrieving this one as the area has thorns. Once secured keep moving along the cut side towards the next cache.
