Kätkö sijaitsee Kurimonkoskella, yhdellä Kiiminkijoen tunnetuimmista kalastuskohteista.

The cache is located at Kurimonkoski rapids, one of the most known fishing sites on Kiiminkijoki river.

Kurimonkoski on kulttuurihistoriallisesti mielenkiintoinen kalastus- ja retkeilykohde. Kosken rannalla on 1800-luvulla sijainnut rautaruukki, jonka jäänteitä paikalla on edelleen nähtävissä.
Kurimonkoski soveltuu hyvin koko perheen retkeilykohteeksi. Kosken rannalla on laavu, tulentekopaikka, puuvarasto ja kuivakäymälä.
Kätkö ei välttämättä ole talvilöydettävä, vaikka se riittävällä korkeudella sijaitseekin.

Kurimonkoski rapids is a great cultural history interest and a fishing place. In 19th century, Kurimo ironworks operated on the banks of the rapids and there still are some remains visible from that time.
Kurimonkoski is also a great picnic place for families. There is a lean-to, campfire site, firewood storage and a dry toilet available.
The cache may not be available for winter even though it is situated high enough.
