The contents of this cache will regularly be swopped with a cache in Kleinmond, Jangroentjie.
Cape Infanta is situated at the mouth of the Breede River, overlooking St Sebastian Bay towards Witsand on the other side. St Sebastian Bay is near the De Hoop Nature Reserve and home to many Southern right whales during their winter migration, as they come to the bay to calf.
The parking co-ordinates will be the starting point of your adventure. No vechiles are allowed beyond this point, there is an opening on the right hand side of the gate which may be used by pedestrians. Follow the pathway until you reach the windsock and a rock on which an arrow is painted that says "TO POINT". Take the path that leads to your right and climb up the steep path for about 50 meters. Please take care. From the next waypoint, at the top of the cliff, you will have an amazing view of the Infanta village, river estuary and the whole bay. Stick to the footpath as no bundu bashing is required.

After about a 30 minute walk you will have passed through two valley-like dips until you reach a rocky, pebbly beach. The cache is hidden in a nearby location. In the winter you will be able to see all the fynbos in flower and spot the Southern right whales!
