How To Make a Wish 1-Select a coin. It can be of any value and feature any design. A coin which you feel a special connection with (for example, a very old coin or an Olympic coin) can be a good choice because it makes the request more personal. However, only choose a coin you are willing to part with. 2-Hold the coin in your hands. You can clench the coin in your fist, hold it to your heart, or turn it between your fingers--whatever feels most natural 3-Look up to the sky and make your wish. It should be heard by you only. If there are others around, think your wish very clearly in your head. If you are alone in a secluded area, you can speak out loud or even shout 4-Drop the coin into the well. Listen to the sounds of its descent and impact. 5-Wait for the day that your wish will be granted.
