Geocache Description:

Newtown Cove is a beautiful peaceful spot in Tramore. Not just the beach, there are other points of interest in the vicinity to satisfy many tastes. Up from the cove is Newtown woods, which has a great trail through suitable for explorers of all ages- quaint bridges and nooks and crannies. The beach itself is favoured for swimmers, and you may just spot young wet suit clad swimmers jumping off the high peak on the RHS of the cove!

Above the cove is a picnic area and large car park, with a walking path down to the cove. Along this path are picnic areas, and rest points. Once down in the cove you will see a long man made concrete bench. Not a holy bench at all, but I heard the wall is a little holy  src="http://www.geocaching.com/static/js/CKEditor/4.1.2/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.gif" title="wink" style="height:20px;width:20px;" />.

NB- Cache had been muggled so was replaced on 9/9/14 :
