Geocache Description:

Second in a series of caches located on the meridian.

I love that my weekly route takes me accross the meridian. Every other part of my week has my watch either a little bit fast or a slow, but at that moment I cross, it's spot on. Also, I find that when I'm on the Meridian I am only aware of one line around the planet - all the other times you could travel in any direction and you'd come back to where you started but when you cross this line, it's north or south and no other will do.
Since we are here to find points on the planet, using co-ordinates and grids, it seems just wrong to ignore the Meridian.

The first meridian cache is GC4WABK If you would like to expand this series in other parts of the country, please do. I'm not aware of a series deliberately targeting the meridian, if you know of one please correct me.

This one is located in a layby on the busy A17, I only recommend retrieving it when heading east: the road can be fast and you may pose a risk to yourself and others by crossing from the westbound side.

Also, it should go without saying, this is not a terribly child friendly location due to the traffic.
