Kick off Environment Week by helping the Friends of McNabs Island Society clean up McNabs and Lawlor Islands Provincial Park! Since 1991, volunteers have collected more than 11,000 bags of garbage and recyclables from the beaches of this Provincial Park and National Historic Site.
- NO bicycles allowed
- Space is limited on both ferries so everyone must pre-register with the Society.
- Please arrive on the Waterfront before 9:30 am.
- Wear sturdy footwear (no sandals)
- Bring work gloves, drinking water, lunch & ENTHUSIASM
- Garbage bags are provided
- The cleanup is NOT suitable for very young children (under 5).
FREE transportation will be provided to the island for volunteers willing to clean up the beaches.
