What A Hoot!! Traditional Cache

Welcome to the Clarence E. Lewis Landscape Arboretum on the campus of Michigan State University!

We hope you enjoy the 7 acres of gardens including a Michigan native garden, a Japanese Zen garden, a formal English garden, a conifer garden, the Mawby fruit collection and more!  Be sure to check out the State of Michigan garden - each county is displayed in granite!  There are places to relax and picnic, and plenty of open grassy space for the kids to run.

During the late spring through fall this is also a popular space for weddings.  If there is a wedding party here, the cache may not be available... Please respect these garden guests.

When I ordered the cache container I did not expect to get what I got.  Lesson about ordering online!!  But I decided to make it work and it may end up being better. That explains the meant to be sarcastic cache title. 

BYOP! Please let me know if the log is getting full.  You will not need to remove the container to retrieve, sign and return the log.

Parking is available near the Hort gardens N of the RR tracks (coin/credit card meters) or at a small lot on Wilson Road (coins only)  There is a fee to park M-F from 8 AM to 6 PM. Parking is free after 6 PM and on weekends except home football game days.
