Just a bit different!!! No need to leave the boardwalk.
This is a beautiful park with a really cool boardwalk. Built in conjunction with the Skagit-Mount Vernon Kiwanis Club, it is a popular spray park during summer months. There is a baseball field, playground, water activities, basketball court, and several picnic tables.
The boardwalk leads back into the trees, splitting south or east. Stay on the boardwalk. There is no need to get off. Stop awhile and listen to the wind in the trees. Don't forget to bring a pen.
