Geocache Description:

Trail Cache. This was part of the2014 MV Parks Geocoin Challenge. Watch for upcoming events at www.mountvernonwa.gov/geocaching.

The East Trail is a new project by the Mount Vernon Trail Builders. It's a very nice multi use trail with a crushed rock path. They have added the 'Sidekick' trail this year that takes a bit longer path to the bridge.

The Mount Vernon Parks has a large series of trails all over and around Little Mountain. The trails range from wheel chair accessable to Mountain Goats only! Many of the trails are multi use and favorites of the local mountain biking community. Watch for them, as they are very silent when they come rolling up behind you. Enjoy the trails, and be kind when stepping off.

This cache is on the Sidekick trail. The cache is just a couple feet off the trail. The tree density is heavy, and the coords bounce all over. Don't let yourself get stumped. There is parking at the trailhead east of the main park entrance, or park near the start of the La-Z-Boy trail and take the big loop catching the other caches along the way.
